About Us
Mission Statement
At JAB Home Improvements it is our mission to provide affordable, reliable contractor services to families for many years to come. To become a household name, that people do not think twice before picking up the phone to call. Knowing that they will always be treated like family, and get the quality they deserve and the outcome they desire with all their remodels, renovations, and home repairs.
Goals
It is my personal goal to eventually take this home improvement company to a place where I am able to acquire distressed properties, that I can rehab and turn into affordable housing for low income families. To give something back to a society that has all but turned against itself. To build something that I can pass onto my children, then them to theirs for generations to come
I will start with our name, It is simply a combination of my son, my daughter and my own first initials all put together forming JAB.

A little about myself, I started my journey down the "handyman" path at an early age. I am the 2nd oldest of 6 children. So I understand the hardships and struggles of being able to afford home maintenance, and improvement projects as well as the rest. I was fixing our cars, changing outlets, ceiling fans, patching drywall by the time I was a teenager.

At the ripe old age of 14, my mother got an opportunity to acquire a home through "Habitat For Humanity". In order to get that home at the discounted costs that they offer, you must put in sweat equity hours (volunteer hours to aid in the building of the homes). So at 14 I started framing, roofing, insulating, hanging drywall, etc.... I was pretty much involved in all aspects of the building process minus the foundations, electric, and plumbing. After our sweat equity hours were met and complete, I stayed the course volunteering my time to the cause until our entire development was complete.

In the years to follow, I became a sheet metal fabricator, and then went on to be a machinist. Spent roughly 16 years of my life between the two fields, while doing carpentry, and home repairs as a side gig.

At the end of 2019, I decided that I did not want to continue to work for someone else anymore. I decided that I wanted to be able to control my own future, make my own path. Which brings us to the here and now, I am in business for myself writing this about me section on my companies webpage. Thank you for taking the time to read, and hopefully you have gotten to know me a little better in the process.
